Johannesburg (City Of Gold) - Jozi, Jo'burg or Egoli to its friends - the city is a vibrant melting pot of humanity that ensures you won't walk alone when exploring the city's many cultural and leisure attractions. Kapama Private Game Reserve occupies a vast area between the northern Drakensberg mountains and the Greater Kruger National Park. It is the largest single-owner game reserve in the Kruger region, renowned for superb wildlife safari. Kapama's 13000 hectares has all the big game of Africa with 42 mammal species and approximately 350 bird species. This equates to huge natural diversity and includes the famed 'Big 5' - lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino. Game drives are conducted through the rolling savannah grasslands and riverine forests that make up this appealing African reserve. Kapama River Lodge is stylish, roomy and beautifully positioned along a dry riverbed that guests fall in love on first sight. Each spacious room at Kapama River Lodge features a full en-suite bathroom and terrace with uninterrupted views into the leafy-green Big 5 wilderness reserve. The central guest entertainment areas include a large rim-flow swimming pool with sun umbrellas and recliners for relaxed time in between game drives. Kapama River Lodge is so named because it lies in a curve of the Kapama River, which is usually dry but flowing from time to time during the rains. A small permanent water source lies just beyond Kapama River Lodge perimeter fence attracting animals like antelopes, elephant and buffalo. Watch this truly African spectacle from the warm blue water of the big rim flow swimming pool or simply relax in the shade of an umbrella on loungers around the pool.

Activities Included: Game Drives

After breakfast, transfer to your flight to Cape Town via Johannesburg. Upon arrival at the Cape Town International Airport, a transfer officer will personally meet all arriving guests and transfer you to Commodore Hotel for your 3 nights Cape Town experience. Your stay in Cape Town includes selected impressive tours. Enjoy a full day Cape Point Tour: sit back, relax and enjoy the experience as you drive along the exquisite stretch of coastline known as Millionaire’s Paradise- from Clifton to Camps Bay, to the exclusive beach hamlet of Llandudno - towards the charming working harbor of Hout Bay; if you so choose, you can embark on an up-close-and-personal Seal Island cruise (paid directly). Back along the main road, you wind along the legendary Chapman’s Peak Drive, hugging the cliffs and relishing the breathtaking ocean views, before arriving at our lunch spot of choice (lunch paid directly): the wild and beautiful Cape of Good Hope Section of the Table Mountain National Park, an integral part of the world-renowned Cape Floral Kingdom. You meander back along the coast towards the city, visiting the historic naval port of Simon’s Town and the endearing penguin colony at Boulder’s Beach. The Fairest Cape of All, that was Sir Francis Drake’s opinion…and we’re sure you’ll echo it. On your Cape Town City tour, you will have the opportunity to visit Table Mountain and take the optional cable car ride (paid directly when operational in good weather). You will visit the country’s oldest building, The Castle (closed Sundays), and a short distance away, the Company Gardens, both historically fascinating and well conserved. Your drive continues past Parliament Buildings, City Hall and the Slave Lodge, and you’ll sense the depth of history via their distinctive architecture. Colonial then changes to colorful, as you move up the cobblestoned hills to the Malay Quarter, and marvel at the ice-cream colors of the quaint Bo-Kaap homes.

3 Nights Okavango Delta Extension - (Botswana)

After breakfast, you will fly to your Okavango Delta concession experience for 3 nights stay at Kwara Camp. The camp is set overlooking a secluded lagoon in the northern Okavango Delta. This region offers a contrasting experience, as its location allows access to the permanent waterways of the Delta as well as expansive dry land areas, admired for their quality game viewing. Kwara accommodates a maximum of 16 guests in eight traditionally styled tents on raised decks, each offering superb views of the lagoon. Towering African ebony and mangosteen trees ensure that the camp is always cool while the hundreds of birds add to the feeling of serenity in one of the Okavango's best kept secrets. The main area has a lounge, dining room and a bar area with vistas of the lagoon and surrounding flora and fauna. Guests can also enjoy the pool to relax between game drives during siesta time and share safari stories or listen to the sounds of the night by the camp fire. The daily safari routine at Kwara usually involves an early morning wake up call, and a gathering around the fireside for piping hot tea and coffee, a bowl of sumptuous porridge and freshly baked muffins. As well as the clean early morning air and dazzling sun rise, an early departure greatly increases the chances of unusual sightings, as the majority of mammals are active at the beginning and end of the day when temperatures are lower. The year round waters at Kwara makes this one of the most consistent game viewing experience available in southern Africa with all the large exciting game species as well as all the interesting smaller species. Kwara offers all the activities one expects in an exclusive concession in the Okavango Delta - day and night drives, game walks, power boating, mokoro trips and fishing (spinning equipment is provided but fly fishermen need to bring their own equipment).
